Standards STCHM 7-93 and GOST 10884-94 are focused on the manufacture of hot-rolled and thermomechanically hardened fittings of the A500C of the European sample. GOST R 52544-2006 differs from the above standards in that it is unified by the main components with the European standard EN 10080. The standard DSTU 3780 is introduced in Ukraine with the abolition of GOST 5781 and GOST 10884 and regulates the properties of reinforcement rolled smooth and periodic profile with a diameter of 5, 5 to 40 mm.

European standards (EN 10080), unlike guests, for reinforcement rolled, the presence of categories of plasticity are assumed: A, B, C. The classification of reinforcement in the class of strength does not intend.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete structures on DSTU 3760-98

General technical conditions for reinforcement rental are regulated by DSTU 3760-98, introduced in Ukraine with the abolition of GOST 5781-82 and GOST 10884-94. This standard applies to the rental of the reinforcement smooth and periodic profile with a diameter of 5.5 to 40 mm, intended for reinforcing conventional and pre-stressed reinforced concrete structures. DSTU 3760-98 allows the manufacturer's manufacturing with other periodic profiles by agreement with the consumer.

In accordance with DSTU 3760-98, reinforcement (designated by the index A) is divided into classes. Classes are determined depending on the normalized value of the conditional yield strength in MPa.

Rental divided into:

 • welded (designated by index C);
 • resistant against corrosion cracking under voltage (indicated by index K);
 • unless (without an index C);
 • unstable against corrosion cracking (without index K).

Armature rental manufactures the following classes:

 • A240C with a smooth profile;
 • A300C, A400C, A500C, A600, A600C, A600K, A800, A800K and A1000 with a periodic profile.

The standard provides for the manufacture of reinforcement rolled round smooth profile with a diameter of 5.5 to 40 mm and a periodic profile with a nominal diameter of 6.0 to 40 mm. Armature rental is delivered in rods and serpets. The reinforcement rolling of the smooth class A240 profile is manufactured according to GOST 2590 ordinary accuracy.

The reinforcement of the periodic profile must have cross-like protrusion protrusions that should not be connected with longitudinal protrusions. Longitudinal protrusions are not required.

The standard is allowed to manufacture the rental of intermediate sizes and with another view of the periodic profile. Ovality of smooth reinforcement rolled - according to GOST 2590. The oval of the periodic profile (D 1 and D 2 difference) must be no more than 1.2 mm for rolled with a diameter of 6 to 14 mm, not more than 1.6 mm for rolled with a diameter of 16 to 25 mm and no more than 2.4 mm for rolled with a diameter of over 25 mm.

Fig. 4. Rent a periodic profile with longitudinal protrusions

The reinforcement rolling in the rods are made of dimensional and non-night length. The length of the rods should be in the range from 6 to 12 m.

The standard is regulated by limit deviations along the length of the dimensional rods. They can be from 0 to +100 mm. By agreement of the manufacturer with the consumer, the establishment of other limit deviations is allowed. The curvature of reinforcement rods should not exceed 0.6% of the measured length.

Sort and weight of 1 m rental

Currently, a number of domestic producers of metal products produces reinforcement rental in accordance with GOST 5781-82. GOST 5781-82 canceled on the territory of Ukraine with the introduction of DSTU 3760-98. This standard applies to round hot rolled steel smooth and periodic profiles intended for the reinforcement of conventional and pre-stressed reinforced concrete structures.

Depending on the mechanical properties, the reinforcement steel for this standard is divided into classes AI (A240), A-II (A300), A-III (A400), A-IV (A600), AV (A800), A-VI (A1000) .

The reinforcement steel is made in rods or motges. A-I (A240) reinforcement steel is made by smooth, class A-II (A300), A-III (A400), A-IV (A600), A-V (A800) and A-VI (A1000) - periodic profile. At the request of the consumer, Steel classes A-II (A300), A-III (A400), A-IV (A300) and A-V (A800) are made by smooth.

Basic parameters and dimensions. The nominal diameters of periodic profiles must correspond to the nominal diameters of isometrics on the cross-sectional area of smooth profiles. Limit deviations of the diameter of smooth profiles must correspond to GOST 2590-88 for conventional rolling accuracy.

Note. At the request of the consumer, the reinforcement rolling is made with a nominal diameter: 4.5; 5.5; 6.5; 7; 7.5; 8.5; nine; 9.5; 45; 50 mm.

The nominal mass of 1 m of the hire length is determined, based on the nominal diameter at the density of steel, equal to 7850 kg / m 3.

The periodic profile of reinforcement rolled should consist of at least two rows of transverse ribs having a sickle shape and not connecting with longitudinal ribs. It is allowed to supply rebar without longitudinal ribs.

The values of the parameters of the periodic profile and its relative crumple area F K must correspond to Table 2.

For hot-rolled and thermomechanically hardened reinforcement rolled, the configuration of the periodic profile must correspond to Figure 1 and Table 1, and for cold-deformed rolled products - Figure 2 and general requirements for the profile (see Table 2).

In coordination with the consumer, it is allowed to supply fittings with a different configuration of the periodic profile, subject to the compliance of the properties of the rolling with the requirements of this standard.

Armature rolling is made with a nominal diameter:

 • up to 6 mm - in motges;
 • from 6 to 12 mm inclusive - in motges or rods;
 • 14 mm and over - in the rods.

Rods manufactures:

 • measuring length (MD) ranging from 6 to 12 m, agreed by the consumer in the order;
 • non-length (ND) ranging from 6 to 12 m, determined by the manufacturer. In the batch of numeric rods, the presence of rods from 3 to 6 m long in the amount of no more than 7% of the mass of the party is allowed.

Limit deviations on the length of the rods of measuring length - plus 100 mm.

The curvature of the rods should not exceed 0.6% of the measured length.
